Cedric Botelho, originally from France, is an energetic and visionary choreographer, dancer, movement coach, and director who has made a significant impact on the dance industry both in the U.S. and globally. Known for his dynamic style and innovative approach, Cedric blends elements of dancehall, hip-hop, and pop culture, creating choreography that is fresh, exciting, and unparalleled. His work is characterized by its unique energy, creativity, and passion for pushing boundaries, earning him a reputation as one of the most exciting choreographers in the dance world today.

Currently based in Los Angeles, Cedric is a faculty member at TMilly and has been an integral part of Immerse Artists Experience (IAX) since Season 3. He is beloved by his students for his genuine, fun-loving approach to teaching and his ability to bring out the best in every dancer. Cedric’s teaching philosophy encourages dancers to “dance for fun, because it’s fun to dance,” and he strives to inspire joy and creativity in his classes, helping students to not only improve their technique but also find their own unique artistic expression.

Cedric’s professional journey began shortly after he moved to Los Angeles, where his talent and passion quickly caught the attention of top artists. He began performing and dancing for some of the biggest names in the music industry, including The Black Eyed Peas, Chris Brown, David Guetta, Jermaine Jackson, Lil Kim, and R. Kelly. His experience in the commercial world expanded quickly as he appeared in national and international commercials for major brands like Xbox, Party City, and Happy Socks, with the iconic photographer David LaChapelle capturing some of his most memorable moments.

As his career progressed, Cedric began assisting and co-choreographing for major artists, including JoJo, Will Smith, Kelis, and Erika Jayne. His work as a co-choreographer has been integral to creating some of the most memorable performances in pop and hip-hop music. This hands-on experience eventually led Cedric to develop his own distinct choreography style, which is now being recognized worldwide. He has choreographed music videos and live performances for both American and Latin artists, including Flo Rida, T-Pain, Christina Milian, Wisin & Yandel, Chino y Nacho, Maluma, Don Omar, and Luny Tunes.

One of Cedric’s standout achievements was his work for the globally popular Masked Singer show, where he showcased his ability to craft and direct high-energy, captivating moments. His choreography and direction for the commercial, which blends elements of mystery, performance, and dance, earned him further recognition in the entertainment industry. He also made his mark in the music video world, most notably as the creative director for the viral Mufasa video, where his artistic direction helped bring the music to life with powerful, visually stunning movement and staging.

Cedric’s work extends beyond the music industry. His creativity and versatility have led him to collaborate with influential social media stars and influencers, including Trisha Paytas, Ricky Dillon, and Patrick Starr, creating viral dance moments that have captivated millions of followers worldwide. He is known for his ability to bring his vision to life in diverse settings, from the IAX dance convention to movies and live shows, consistently creating choreography that resonates with audiences and performers alike.
