Justin Pham is a highly accomplished dancer, choreographer, and creative director based in San Diego, California. A graduate of the USC Glorya Kaufman School of Dance, he earned a BFA in Dance with a Minor in Cinematic Arts, training under some of the industry’s most influential artists and educators, including William Forsythe, Jodie Gates, and Desmond Richardson, who helped shape his technical foundation and artistic voice.

Justin began his professional career while still in college, signing with Go 2 Talent Agency and performing in iLuminatein Las Vegas. His breakout national recognition came as a Top 20 finalist on Season 14 of So You Think You Can Dance, where he was featured in the Emmy Award-winning routine “Brand New,” establishing himself as a standout performer on one of dance’s most competitive platforms.

His screen and commercial credits include music videos for artists such as Half•Alive and Jesse & Joy, as well as a range of live performance and creative projects developed in collaboration with leading choreographers and directors. Justin’s versatility across contemporary, commercial, and cinematic dance has made him a sought-after collaborator in both stage and screen environments.

As a choreographer, Justin has created work for stages and institutions nationwide, directed independent dance films, and developed a choreographic voice that blends movement with storytelling and cinematic structure. His work has been recognized as a finalist at the McCallum Theatre Choreography Festival and the Capezio A.C.E. Awards, and has been commissioned for presentation at the Laguna Art Museum in collaboration with the Laguna Dance Festival.

Justin is also a respected educator and creative mentor, serving as a nationwide guest instructor and virtual educator with CLI Studios. His teaching emphasizes a thoughtful, cinematic approach to movement, encouraging dancers to think beyond steps and develop a deeper artistic and conceptual understanding of choreography and performance.

Justin joined Immerse Artists Experience in Season 3 as a guest artist and has remained a valued part of the faculty since, inspiring dancers through his unique blend of technical precision, storytelling, and creative direction. He also serves as Director of the Industry Program at a leading Southern California dance studio, where he trains dancers for professional careers in concert, commercial, and cinematic dance.

Across all aspects of his career, Justin Pham continues to bridge the worlds of performance, choreography, and film—shaping the next generation of dancers through innovation, education, and artistic vision.
